Making a difference at Dean Park
Dean Park Parent Teacher Association (known as the PTA) brings together parents, carers, teachers and our wider community to make school life even better for every child at Dean Park School and Nursery.
From clubs and books to special experiences, classroom resources and practical support for families, everything we do is about adding a little more to our children’s time at Dean Park.

What we do
Create opportunities
We run a wide range of after-school clubs, giving children opportunities to try something new, build skills, have fun and spend time with friends.
Make good things happen
Our fundraising helps pay for resources, experiences and improvements that make a real difference to school and nursery life.
Support our school community
From our Uniform Swap Shop to hardship support, we work with the school to help make sure cost isn’t a barrier to children taking part.

You don’t need to join a committee or make a huge commitment to help the PTA.
An hour at the Fayre, helping at an event, sorting uniform, sharing a skill, running a stall or volunteering regularly, it all counts.
All help is welcome. Every minute makes a difference.

After School Clubs
Almost half of Dean Park pupils took part in a PTA club during 2025/26, with 239 children participating across 10 different activities.
From sport and STEM to music and creativity, our clubs give children even more opportunities to discover what they enjoy.
Uniform Swap Shop
Good uniform deserves another adventure.
Our Uniform Swap Shop gives quality pre-loved Dean Park uniform a new home, helping families save money, reducing waste and raising funds for the PTA at the same time.
Items are available for a suggested donation, and support is always available where needed
